The Release reports are Data Model list reports exported via the data modeling tool as MS Excel spreadsheets.
Data model integrity check

The PD Check Model output text file has the validation result:0 error(s), 0 warning(s).
The Conceptual Data Model is correct, no errors were found.
Public quarterly FIB-DM Release report
Jayzed Data Models publishes the quarterly FIB-DM release report (FIB-DM Normative August 2026 – FIBO Production Q2-2026 – Packages and Entities.xlsx) on the FIB-DM website and LinkedIn page.
Visitors can view the list of entities and packages, along with their definitions, in MS Office Online and download the PDFs.
The Resources SharePoint provides the original MS Excel file.
Confidential quarterly model objects report.

As with the Package and Entity reports above, the model object reports (Release reports.xlsx) are also generated from the data modeling tool, PowerDesigner.
The primary purpose is to help commercial licensees validate their FIB-DM migration to other data modeling tools or software. For example, customers on ERWin created the exact same reports in their data modeling tool and compared the results to the spreadsheets. They are confident that “nothing got lost” in the ERWin import.
The Release report workbook has 8 tabs:
- Package, Entity, and Attribute Extended Attributes have the complete FIBO documentation. The documentation migrates into ERWin User-Defined Properties (UDPs).
- The Deprecated Entities (also a PowerDesigner Extended Attribute/ERWin UDP) list entities that will be removed in future FIBO-FIB-DM versions.
- The Entity Attribute report lists attributes on FIB-DM base entities. Less than 300. FIBO is a conceptual model; hence, FIB-DM is mainly at the entity level.
- Inheritance reports on supertype/subtype relationships in the data model.
- Relationships are between a FIB-DM base and an associative entity. The patented Configurable Ontology to Data model Transformation (CODT) derives relationships from the Financial Industry Business Ontology range, domain, and class restrictions.
- The list of diagrams helps you to find the new content in the FIB-DM release.
As explained on the Diagrams folder page, each new FIB-DM release includes diagrams for the latest data model packages (subject areas).
Please treat this workbook and your data model reports with the same confidentiality as FIB-DM and your Financial Institutions’ proprietary metadata.
